Come to Washington for the March for Life via your very own Avatar

January 15, 2010

A warm welcome to the countless Americans who will join this year’s March for Life – both in person and, for the first time, via their avatar.

That’s right.  Hollywood has nothing on the power of the internet and millions of pro-life Americans ready to stand up for life – especially during this crucial health care debate.  While hundreds of thousands will fill the National Mall and march on the Supreme Court one week from today, hundreds of thousands more will join them online ready to make their voice heard for the unborn.

If you haven’t yet joined, surf on over to and set up your avatar right now.  Then tweet, post on Facebook, and email your friends and make this the largest pro-life event ever!

After you set up your avatar and tell everyone you ever met to set up their avatar too, make sure you come back to the site in the coming days for more cool stuff:

- Live streaming of the March for Life right on the Virtual March for Life website
- Live tweeting of everything that happens at the March
- Liveblogging of the March
- Annoucements of celebrity avatars coming soon!

To make sure you keep up to date on all the Virtual March for Life events, be sure to follow AUL Action on Twitter and Facebook:

While this project is only a few hours old, the media has already taken a keen interest:

CBN: Pro-Life Avatars Set to Invade Washington DC
Life News: Pro-Life Avatars Head to Washington in First-Ever Virtual March for Life

Be sure to join AUL Action’s Virtual March for Life and make this year the biggest march yet!

on the “” webpage – there is a button/link for “Contact Congress”.

that takes you to a “keep abortion out of health care” to senators fax page. the text of that fax talks about “cloture”.

Is this fax still valid??

A wonderful, and critical, timely idea. I have about 100 friends that I would like to send the information to. However, as with many cases, the web page is not designed to allow me to access my email address book; believe it or not, I have not memorized the 1000 addresses from my address book.
Any suggestions?

This is about the stupidest thing i’ve seen yet as a response to child killing. It is no wonder that after 37 years any woman, anywhere, can still pay someone to butcher her baby before it is born. If you believe abortion is murder, ACT LIKE IT!

I wish I could have picked a gray haired avatar. :) I am wondering if the President and Congress will see this virtual march. Will this make a difference to them?
