We have Congressmen and women who will vote on a Health program and they are not covered in the program. They want something better. They are voting on a program that they no nothing about the bill as they do not have time to read. I say lets stop and start over with everyone looking at the total program and make sure everyone including elected officials and appointed members in the program.

I don’t have any money right now, but I have contacted my Senators – both liberal Democrats – a couple of times. Our pro-life ministry group is getting out the word and encouraging the involvement of everyone in our three parishes.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks for standing up for what is right, truthful, and moral.

27 August 2009

Dear Friends,
I had the opportunity to speak to our House representative this morning, the Blue Dog Democrat, Mr. Dennis Moore. I have been studying this health care debate over the summer, and I am convinced that whether or not you agree with all or any of what I presented this morning, now is the time in the history of our nation to stand tall and firmly convicted on our principles. As you will read, I stake my claim on our nation’s foundational documents, especially our Declaration of Independence.
I emphasized to Congressman Moore privately after the Town Hall meeting that medical care is best done locally by local people. I also pointed out that a local group of about forty physicians have opened an urban health care clinic and that it is staffed entirely on volunteer healthcare worker time. He was duly impressed by this initiative and expressed a desire to tour the clinic. It seems to me that the depth and breadth of American personal initiative could get our 12-47 million uninsured American countrymen basic and preventative health care without much difficulty. Sure, this is a challenge, and our current healthcare course must be altered, but we, free-born Americans don’t need to accept a government hand-out or government option. There are plenty of alternatives to what is being floated on the Hill. We must think, and we must act. The time is ripe as this is a real opportunity in our nation’s history. Please God, let us work to preserve the freedom and individual dignity on which our nation was founded!

Respectfully,
Laura Reilly
U.S. Citizen

Congressman Moore, I am pleased to have the opportunity to share my convictions with you this morning.
I am Laura Reilly, a neurologist in private practice for 15 years.
First, let me be clear so as not to be mis-characterized by anyone, particularly anyone on the Hill with an agenda to pass the current healthcare reform proposals no matter the extent of strenuous opposition from coast to coast across our great nation.
If you hear emotion in my voice, understand that it is passion not anger or hatred. I am passionately in love with the founding principles upon which our country was built. The United States Declaration of Independence and Constitution are the two most brilliant pieces of statecraft written in the history of humanity. Our guiding principles emphasizing that we are created equal and endowed with the inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness have resulted in great prosperity for many and hope for those yet toiling in the cold, darkness of dictatorship across the globe; WE ARE THE SHINING BEACON ON THE HILL!
These current healthcare bills such as HR3200 and the senate HELP bill as well as their revised progeny have the REAL AND PRESENT DANGEROUS potential of altering each American citizen’s inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. These proposals put a price on a person’s head in the form of: QARY (Quality Adjusted Remaining Years of life). To add to this abhorrent immorality, a person’s monetary worth is determined by the members of the IMAC (Independent Medical Advisory Board) – a group of unelected bureaucrats. To this I SAY NO!
Furthermore, there must not be a government option under any circumstances, no matter the final semantic name in this on-going, duplicitous D.C. name-game. The pathway is negotiable but the end is unchanging in that there must NEVER BE A GOVERNMENT OPTION UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! We understand that this bill is a broad outline which will be fleshed out by unelected ideologues. It will lower the standard of care for all. I say let us find affordable privately funded ways to RAISE our uninsured brothers and sisters to our level of healthcare. Consider insurance regulations, insisting on portability, tort reform and providing privately funded clinics/insurance policies to deliver care to the uninsured. Americans are ingenious. We solve challenges. We only need government help in regulating the broad outlines then move out of the way and let the great personal wealth of this country show forth its strength!
Furthermore, this healthcare reform must maintain the long-held neutrality with respect to government promotion of abortion and must have a fail-safe conscience clause. HR3200, Section 1233 entitled “Advanced Care Planning/Consultation” on page 430 lines16-17 regard food and water as “life sustaining treatments’ which could potentially be withheld. This is nothing less than cruel and inhumane treatment of our fellow citizens. PETA would go insane if such a proposal was made for an ill animal. Please, this is insanity and is unreasonable!
Congressman Moore, you are the face of this healthcare reform to me, and you stand at a watershed moment in the history of our country.
Know and understand well that I am a free-born American citizen, a wife, a mother, a physician and a U.S. Navy veteran in that order. When I took my oath and accepted my Navy Commission, I did so deeply resolved to uphold the principles on which this nation was founded. I accepted my commission understanding that I may need to sacrifice my very life for my nation’s principles. It so happened that all I gave was 12 years of service to my country. Understand that I am more deeply resolved than ever to give my all in defense of our principles. You are returning to D.C. to vote for me. Stand firm for your constituents at this time in the history of our nation. This is my first participation in the political process beyond voting in presidential elections, but I have arrived, and I will continue to work tirelessly to preserve our great heritage of freedom for each and every citizen of this land!
Thank you.

To the Democratic Party

Racists Roots of Abortion

President Obama refused to recognize a baby born from a partial birth abortion by voting against the born alive act. President Obama refused to recognize the most vulnerable members of our society. As a candidate in 2007 President Obama promised Planned Parenthood to enact the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) when he was elected president. FOCA is a proposed federal law to nullify virtually all federal and state limitations on abortion. Planned Parenthood also wants to include abortion in a national heath care plan.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion provider in America with 78% of their clinics in minority communities. Blacks make up 12% of the population, but 35% of the abortions in America. Are they being targeted? Isn’t that genocide? They are the only minority in America that is on the decline in population. If the current trend continues, by 2038 the black vote will be insignificant. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a devout racist who created the Negro Project designed to sterilize unknowing black women and others she deemed as undesirables of society? The founder of Planned Parenthood said, “Colored people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated.” How is her vision being fulfilled today?

Every third abortion in America is performed on black women per Rev. Clenard Childress Jr. (http://www.blackgenocide.org/sanger.html). Nearly 50 million children have been aborted 35 since Roe v. Wade.

Reverend Walter Hoye states that abortion kills more Black people than heart disease, cancer, HIV/AIDS, and violent crime (http://www.catholicvoiceoakland.org/09-05-25/frontpage1.htm).

President Obama and the Democratic Party who support abortion are either too arrogant, ignorant or don’t care that abortion has its racist’s roots back to the founder of Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger. The President who promised to change, reform and transform this nation is the abortion president who supports the destruction of his own people with the support of the Democratic Party.

The diabolical act of abortion is so far from American ideals that it will take lightyears to educate our politicians on the fact that human life comes from God and belongs to Him alone to determine when one should die. Pro-abortion doctors, politicians and laymen have the most narrow, unthinking, subjective minds in the world.

All I can say is I hope our Congressmen/Senators read the ‘whole’ Bill before they make any decision regarding healthcare reform. I’m sure if they are of good moral character they will find that we, the American people, are being taken for a ride by a bunch of liars.
I have lived in England and in Canada with National Health and I’m fortunate not to be in either of those countries at the present time or in future years when health starts to fail, hoping of course that we don’t go in that direction! We presently have the best healthcare system in the world where people from other countries, who cannot get good healthcare or surgeries, actually come here to be helped. They need to check out welfare recipients to see if they are really needy and those who can work should get up off their behinds and do something..anything! Instead, we have those who feel “what is the government going to give ME!!” Education, Education, Education – that’s what people need. As soon as America, starting from the top, become more moral in their thinking and in their ways, we are headed for disaster! God gave us LIFE and there are some who are so high and mighty they think they are God – only He would never permit a baby to be killed or an elderly person to have his/her life snuffed out. Read the Bill. Wake up America!

Karmen A. Grech August 27, 2009 at 10:00 pm

President Obama right from the very start took our taxpayers’ money a few days right after his election to pay for abortion in other countries. I would not trust him in any way as far as taxpayers’ money and abortion are concerned. He had promised Planned Parenthood to help override the Abortion laws in effect. He started that and his intent is to continue. All language in the health care bill needs to be re-written to ensure that no health care money goes to pay for any abortion including life policies/employers’ contributions toward life/health policies.

Penny Muckle August 28, 2009 at 8:30 am

If reporductive health care for women is not abortion, then what is it? I was very glad to hear on this news cast that there are even some democrats don’t believe in this bill.
I also agree with the statement that a lot of pro life people don’t trust President Obama. I can certainly agree with that. I think he is leading us down a primrose path and who knows what’s at the end. His words are used very carefully and if you do not listen the same way a lot of this stuff sounds very good.

Louise August 28, 2009 at 10:11 am

I hope all the people who voted for this man realize that they too must accept responsibility for this mess. I’m appalled with the behavior and ideas of all of these people in our government. Our country is truly in serious trouble.

Deborah Weaver August 28, 2009 at 10:47 am

I greatly appreciate having a computer available to me in order to learn about the HR 3200. Personally, I am Pro-Life and very much in total opposition to any taxes paying for the horrid pro-choice abortion procedures. I needed to comply with the “Hatch Act” for almost 30 years of my life. I can now “stand up.” and verbally oppose, protest, and support Americans United for Life.

Thank you Charmaine in all that you do.

Jacqueline Kruger August 28, 2009 at 11:39 am

We, the American people say, “NO” to ANY and ALL Health Care reform. We, the American People want reverence for ALL LIFE from conception to natural death. We, the American People say, “NO” to Abortion and Euthanasia!”

We, the American People say “NO” to the policies of this administration. We, the American People want a law that allows us to call an emergency vote to remove an incompetent president, senator, representative, leader of the House, leader of the Senate, cabinet members, and a Justice of the Supreme Court.

We, the American People say “NO” to spending millions on the unnecessary CZARS. Throw them all out! Those who voted for this administration assumed that the candidate knew what he were doing and was not in need of multiple unnecessary advisors/czars who are usurping Congress’ authority.

Michael Novack August 28, 2009 at 11:51 am

I hope the conservative democrats stand firm in their position for clarification in the
langauage of this health vare reform bill; namely that no government funds or for that
matter premiums for insurance of any kind will be used to fund abortions.

Beth Breda August 28, 2009 at 1:25 pm

Thanks for all you do, AUL, in getting the truth out to our nation!

Mary Brokamp August 28, 2009 at 8:22 pm

I think President Obama’s statements are truly confusing and contradictory. I think he changes what he says too often, and I think sometimes he says one thing when he means another. His plans are not to clear.

Abortions are murder, wlhich is a sin. I think whether they are legal or illegal there will always be some women that will manage to get them. I think that legalizing them has only increased the amount of abortions and having abortion coverage included in the insurance coverage will only make it worse.

I THINK WE NEED THE KIND OF HEALTHCARE THAT WILL PREVENT ABORTIONS (NOT COVER THEM) THE KIND OF HEALTH CARE THAT PROVIDES COUNSELING FOR THOSE WHO THINK IT IS OKAY TO CONCEIVE AND ABORT. Would President Obama want to see his daughters get abortions?

Janelle August 29, 2009 at 8:27 am

Excellent webcast. thanks for posting it. I support you guys.

Patricia Morrish August 29, 2009 at 3:17 pm

Obama can hide his real intentions in his many confusing words to suit any group of his supporters but he has said many times he supports all manor of planned parenthood( ABORTION). I am PRO LIFE and do NOT want my tax money spent on ABORTION! I will NOT vote for those REPRESENTATIVES who do support it!

Patricia Morrish August 29, 2009 at 3:20 pm

Don’t spend my tax $ on Abortion. IT’s against GOD’s laws that this country was founded on. And I will take note of those REPS who vote for it!

Sheralyn Murphy August 29, 2009 at 11:09 pm

This makes me so angry! I am disgusted with the President and those that support abortions. Thank you Charmaine Yoest for striving to stand for integrity and trying to save human life. I will be supporting Glen Beck with his 9/12 Project. It’s time the facts are recognized and we get those people in the White House out! and replace them with people that have morals and values!

nancy henderson August 30, 2009 at 5:36 pm

i will be praying that this healthcare reform bill is voted down by both parties! We do indeed need healthcare reform in our country, but not to the extent that pres. obama is proposing, and no one regardless of party should be supporting funding of abortions in the US or anywhere else for that matter!! THIS IS AN ABOMINATION!!! JUST LIKE THE ACT OF ABORTION!!!!

God bless you for all you do to help save our babies!!

Patricia Ricau August 30, 2009 at 9:09 pm

thanks for the video–its clear as a bell and i am going to forward to all my email list.

Diana Van Zeelt August 31, 2009 at 10:59 am

How can we punish those who mislead and lie about the issues. Politics as usual will take our country down. I applaud those who went to tea parties and are speaking the truth. I’ll continue to pray for God’s wisdom to prevail. The hearts of the rulers are in his hands so we need to pray for a real change…one of the heart.

Armida Dagistino September 1, 2009 at 5:07 pm

President Obama is eather not telling the truth, (maybe he has not read the bill), or he wants to please everyone and speaks at both end of his mouth. Please send me more info on this matter as it happens.

Joe Aucoin September 28, 2009 at 9:17 pm

President Obama,

If your mother had an abortion with you, then you would not have been able to be the President of the most powerful nation in the world. Give the babies a chance, and let God decide their fate, not self centered mothers and fathers, AND especially not with tax payer dollars.

Jessie Channer October 19, 2009 at 11:24 am

I agree with the statement made by Joe Aucoin.

Although I am fully convinced of the truth of the views given in this volume, I by no means expect to convince experienced naturalists whose minds are stocked with a multitude of facts all viewed, during a long course of years, from a point of view directly opposite to mine. ,

Chris Riotto November 20, 2009 at 7:11 pm

After thinking about it, I’ve come to the conclusion that I am really pro-choice–which means I am pro-life.

I CHOOSE Jesus Christ as Lord, I CHOOSE to be conservative, I CHOOSE one man and one woman, I CHOOSE……life.

For all the mess in Washington under the Obama strong-arm thuggery, which I am fiercely opposed, I blame it mostly on the Republicans. I do so because of the way they did nothing while they had the White House, Senate, and House. America gave them a Golden Opportunity when they elected them into office years ago, and they screwed up. So much so, that America then threw their sorry butts out and handed everything over to the Liberals. And now look what we’ve got. A socialist in the White House with wicked henchmen (and women) appointed to very high offices. Our freedoms are rapidly eroding under a socialist administration and it’s because of the Republicans. Had they done their jobs like they were supposed to, they would probably still be in office and we most-likely would NOT be having these discussions. But hopefully America will continue to see what happens when liberals come into power, and rectify her mistake in the 2010 mid-term elections.

As America continues to bleed and die under Obama, we implore God still hears our prayers and forgives us for what we’ve done and will allow a shift in the imbalance of our government back towards the RIGHT.

Have mercy on us, O Lord, and forgive us.
