Final Vote Expected Tomorrow on Sebelius

April 27, 2009

This week’s schedule for the US Senate is out, and the debate over the nomination of Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius to be Secretary of Health and Human Services is set for Tuesday.

Debate is slated to start at 10am ET and proceed for eight hours.  In order to be confirmed, Gov. Sebelius must get 60 votes.

AUL Action will score the Sebelius vote.

There’s still time to tell your Senators to vote “No” on the Sebelius nomination.  Visit the AUL Action site to tell them what you think today.

For a refresher on why Gov. Sebelius’ record shows she is unfit to serve, visit the post by AUL Vice President of Legal Affairs Denise Burke and Senior Counsel Clarke Forsythe on the AUL blog.
